NATIONS UNIVERSITY RESEARCH INSTITUTE (NURI)
NURI is the research arm of Nations University. In collaboration with Varqa Foundation, NURI has developed a three-year research partnership with the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland to research the Youth Can Move the World Programme.
Registration is now open for 2008/9 for Nursery, Primary and Secondary. Students write Cambridge University IGCSE in the 4th and 5th Forms.
Fast Track to London University Degrees Nations offers an intensive one year of 6th Form (in the arts and social sciences) which will guarantee entry into Nations University to pursue a University of London degree once the student performs well at the AS/AL examinations.
In collaboration with the University of Cambridge, Nations University offers International Diplomas in: · Business · Teachers and Trainers · Information and Communication Technology Courses begin September 2009. Registering now. Brochures available from Nations office.
INTERNATIONAL DIPLOMA FOR TEACHERS AND TRAINERS This nine-month, part-time Diploma had a 95% pass rate in 2005/6. Graduates of this Diploma are given up to 12 credits towards the MSc in Education degree at Nova Southeastern University (USA). See www.fgse.nova.edu/cie This Diploma is also being offered in Berbice, Essequibo & Linden. A Distance Teaching version of the course is available for persons from interior areas. Nations 6th Form College offers a choice of 18 Cambridge University A Levels, including: Maths, Physics Chemistry, Biology Environmental Science, Psychology Sociology, English Language and Literature Law, General Paper Thinking Skills, Business Economics, Accounts Art Spanish, SAT classes, Very attractive scholarships are available to students who can contribute significantly to the school experience. A dynamic project operates where students offer service to the community. With the creation of Nations University, Nations College will be able to take advantage of the facilities offered in terms of: excellent study facilities, computer room, DSL connection, AVA room and swimming pool. |
